Zoning Board approves three variances, including contested multifamily development
Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of May 5, 2026
NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Zoning Board approves three variances in May hearing. The Zoning Board of Adjustment unanimously approved variances for a detached accessory dwelling unit on a one-acre Agricultural-zone lot for Clifford Normand at 283 Wallace Road, a garage replacement within three feet of a stream for Gerald Leibrandt at 245 Bog Road, and a detached three-unit multifamily development for Jordan Dupuis and ECHO Properties on South Mast Street. The multifamily variance drew substantial public opposition from neighbors including Sally Sites and Ursula Dubreuil, who raised concerns about neighborhood character and precedent; the board emphasized the variance addressed only the definition of multifamily units and that future Planning Board review would address design and site-plan standards.
