NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Village Bridge Ad Hoc Committee approves rail trail MOU. Chair Paula Bedard led the committee in voting 4-0 to back a Memorandum of Understanding with Friends of Goffstown Rail Trail, with the agreement recommended to the Select Board for signature following a legal review. During discussion, Committee member Cynthia Boisvert raised the question of notifying donors if the project is terminated, but Bedard said such language was not necessary to add to the MOU.
The committee declined to participate in this year's Goffstown Pumpkin Regatta and continues research into Congressional Direct Funding.
