Sewer Commission Plans Pump Station Upgrades, Authorizes Dog Signs

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Sewer Commission directs major upgrades at Moose Club Park Pump Station. Superintendent Corey Wike reported the existing pumps are approximately 10 years outdated, with replacements quoted at around $9,700 per unit uninstalled. Consulting Engineer Mike Trainque is developing recommendations for upgrades including new inverters and control panels.
Commissioner Tim Redmond requested the Superintendent attend the Capital Improvement Plan meeting seeking a 50 percent budget increase for the project. The Commission unanimously authorized signage at East Union Pump Station reading "Dogs Must Be on Leash Unless Swimming" and "No Dogs on Grass" to address unleashed dog problems.
