SEWER COMMISSION ELECTS REDMOND CHAIRMAN, AUTHORIZES PUMP UPGRADES

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Sewer Commission elects new officers and authorizes infrastructure upgrades. Tim Redmond and Daniel Taylor were unanimously elected chairman and vice-chairman for 2026-2027 on April 14, according to meeting minutes. The commission authorized Superintendent Corey Wike to upgrade pump stations to the Mission cellular tracking system, replacing a decades-old paper-chart alarm system that will automatically alert the superintendent to pump malfunctions via email.
The commission also authorized a backflow preventer installation at a Rochambeau Street home following a recent sewer backup and plans major construction including Warren Avenue sewer line replacement and manhole adjustments across nine town streets.
