Sewer Commission authorizes emergency Rochambeau Street repair
Sewer Commission · Meeting of May 12, 2026
NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Sewer Commission authorizes emergency repair for three-year Rochambeau Street backup. Commissioners Tim Redmond, Daniel Taylor, and Don Ball unanimously voted to classify the sewer line failure as an emergency, allowing Superintendent Corey Wike to contract work without competitive bidding. The repair addresses a chronic problem where the sewer line slopes in the wrong direction in multiple sections, with pitch running as much as 3 percent backward in some areas.
The commission also approved the May 2026 sewer warrant of $936,359.54 and voted not to file a response to a notice of suit from the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority.
