SEWER COMMISSION APPROVES RETROACTIVE STEP INCREASES

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Sewer Commission approves retroactive pay increases and survey authorization. The commission unanimously approved step increases for sewer employees retroactive to January 1, 2026, with funding through the appropriated 2027 default budget, placing future raises on a January 1 cycle. The board also authorized Professional Engineer Michael Trainque to sign a contract with Sanford Surveying and Engineering for preliminary survey work on Cross, Rochambeau, Higgins, Plummer, and Kermit streets, estimated at $19,000 to $21,000, preceding design work for sewer system replacement.
The commission additionally approved quarterly cleanings of metering pits managed by Manchester Waste-Water Division at $2,400 annually, with funds from Contract Services.
