Select Board establishes police building study committee

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Select Board establishes police facility study committee. The Board approved a charter for an 11-member Police Building Ad Hoc Committee that will assess renovation versus new construction options, examine available sites, and develop bonding scenarios for possible inclusion on the 2027 Town Meeting warrant. Vice Chairman Josh Douglas emphasized the committee must deliver both a physical plan and financing approach rather than continue an indefinite study process.
The Board also adopted traffic measures for Grady Hill Road, reducing the speed limit to 25 miles per hour and adding the road to the No Through Trucking Ordinance, and decommissioned the Fire Department's 1995 Wells Cargo spill trailer, out of service since 2024.
