NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown school district submits revised capital plan with phased projects, funding constraints acknowledged. Operations Manager Scott Gross presented a $1 million girls' varsity baseball field project and $500,000 parking lot expansion for Goffstown High School, both pushed further out in the timeline due to state funding pressures and bond feasibility questions. A $35,000 septic test at Mountain View Middle School, $500,000 generator project, and $61,000 in technology and district-wide work rounded out submissions.
Gross told the Committee the district will need to pursue multi-year bonding strategies for significant work planned in 2028 and 2029, given New Hampshire's $50 million annual state capital allocation and competition from larger regional projects like the Concord middle school.
