Planning Board approves second driveway for College Road duplex
Planning Board · Meeting of April 23, 2026
NH GOFFSTOWN — Planning Board splits on twin-driveway commercial duplex variance. Goffstown's Planning Board voted 5-2 on April 23 to grant a conditional use permit for two driveways at 15 College Road, a commercial-zone duplex owned by Sarette Corner Property Management, LLC. The property has only 227 feet of frontage (300 feet required for a second driveway) and driveways 21 feet apart (100 feet required).
Board supporters, including Barbara Griffin and Kimberly Peace, argued the configuration improves safety and reduces visual impact versus a single 32-foot curb cut. Chairman Tim Redmond and board member Richard Freeman voted against. The board also unanimously approved (7-0) inclusion of a Goffstown lot in the Town of Weare's 20-lot open space cluster subdivision.
