Parks Commission plans Roy Park redesign with pickleball courts and dog park

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Parks and Recreation Commission redesigns Roy Park projects after drainage survey. Director Rick Wilhelmi and commissioners moved the proposed pickleball courts from the old pool site to the rectangular softball field during the March 18 meeting, citing drainage issues, and will relocate the dog park to the old pool location. The projects, funded through Parks and Recreation's revolving fund and impact fees, will require removal of trees and a softball backstop.
A Sandford Engineering & Surveying boundary assessment identified fences from two properties encroaching on town land; the commission directed Wilhelmi to present the findings to the Select Board for resolution.
