Library trustees map building priorities amid budget constraints

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown library board accepts donation, reviews maintenance framework. The board unanimously approved a $2,610 gift from the Friends of the Goffstown Public Library for museum pass renewal through June 2026. Library Director Pat Penick reported the $282,000 elevator repair project completed August 14, with Primex covering approximately $6,000 in costs.

Facing Select Board pressure for 5-7 percent budget growth, the board will present a draft 2027 budget at the September meeting while reviewing parking lot paving and other maintenance projects.
