NH GOFFSTOWN — The Goffstown Public Library Board of Trustees reviewed parking lot progress, submitted the 2027 operating budget to the Select Board, and began investigating preservation planning grant options. The parking lot project was configured for 38 spaces, including 2 handicapped spaces, with the top layer scheduled for 2027. The board resolved an easement dispute with an abutting property owner after consulting town legal staff.
The library's 2027 budget, submitted Monday, included a 2 percent increase and $30,000 for an HVAC system. The library originally proposed a $100,000 annual Capital Reserve Fund but the Select Board was considering $225,000 from the fund balance pending approval. Trustee Kerstie Hazelbaker sought cost estimates for preservation planning grants.
