Library Board unanimously seeks $90,000 capital reserve funds

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Library Board unanimously requests $90,000 capital reserve funds. The Library Board of Trustees voted 6-0 to inform the Select Board of its intention to request $90,000 in capital reserve funds to address six building projects totaling $515,418 over five years. Library Director Patti Penick told the board that priority improvements include a $282,000 elevator replacement, $90,000 repointing, and a $76,499 first-floor bathroom renovation, to be funded at approximately $103,084 annually.
The board also accepted an $850 donation from the Friends of the Goffstown Public Library for renewal of its New England Aquarium pass and learned that the master alarm box relay failed, requiring $2,400 to repair this year and $1,100 in annual costs thereafter.
