NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown library board accepts $30,000 Foundation grant for restoration. The Board of Trustees unanimously approved $30,000 in unanticipated revenue from the Goffstown Public Library Foundation to fund window preservation and bookshelf restoration, with a proposed start date of April 2027 and an estimated 12-month completion timeline. The window project alone carries a $23,258 estimate, with bookshelf modification at $6,050.
Vice Chair Jordan Evans volunteered to create a grant-opportunity matrix to expand the library's fundraising capacity beyond the Foundation's current initiatives. The board also discussed the Foundation's "Seal the Deal" exterior improvement campaign, targeting the elevator shaft, exterior painting, and HVAC upgrades.
