Joint Loss Safety Committee escalates Fire facility concerns

Joint Loss Safety Committee · Meeting of March 16, 2026

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Safety Committee escalates seven Fire facility concerns to the Select Board. The committee unanimously re-elected Jim Mitchell as Chair and Danielle Basora as Secretary for 2026. Deputy Chief Michael Davenport reported drainage failures, roof leaks, mold, and water damage affecting Fire Stations 1 and 2, with the committee recommending either internal fixes through the Fire Department's operating budget or escalation to the Select Board for possible budget transfers.

Members also reviewed 16 workplace incidents across town departments and recommended that the Police Department explore alternative snow removal coordination with town administration to address three prior snow removal injuries at the police station.
