NH GOFFSTOWN — Joint Loss Safety Committee reviews three June incidents without new recommendations. The committee met on June 17 and examined injuries sustained by Public Works, Fire Department, and Police Department employees between April and June, with Deputy Chief Michael Davenport reporting that Fire Department protective gear was sent to the manufacturer for evaluation following a forehead burn during a flashover training exercise at the NH Fire Academy. Members unanimously voted to recommend the town consider alternative solutions for town-wide snow removal, citing annual injuries related to snow and ice at municipal facilities.
The next quarterly meeting is scheduled for September.
