Goffstown subcommittee advances conservation boundary and deed consolidation

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Open Space Subcommittee charts conservation property stewardship priorities. Chairman David Nieman and committee members agreed to schedule three site walks through late August and early September to assess boundary conditions and baseline environmental data across Paige Hill Marsh, Acorn Drive Extension Open Space Land, and other properties. The committee is also pursuing deed research and consolidation for multiple South Uncanoonuc lots, originally created by the 1905 Uncanoonuc Incline Railway and Development Company, aiming to standardize deed language and designate the Goffstown Conservation Commission as uniform legal owner to comply with New Hampshire law distinguishing between town-owned and conservation-commission-owned land.
