NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Select Board recommends $27.5M budget for 2026. The board unanimously backed the operating budget of $27,519,425 and approved a default budget of $26,648,427, while declining to recommend most citizen petition articles due to legal preemption concerns. The board unanimously recommended an article to raise elderly tax exemption income limits but voted 4-1 against a fund balance limitation proposal, with Vice Chairman Mark Lemay dissenting.
Budget transfers totaling $270,094.97 were approved for payroll reallocation and fire department vehicle replacement.
