Goffstown secures $250K fire engine grant, applies for $750K housing project

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Select Board backs $250K fire engine and $750K housing infrastructure grants. The Board unanimously approved a $250,000 New Hampshire Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust grant for fire engine replacement, with the town responsible for an $840,979 match, per Fire Chief Benjamin Selleck. In three public hearings, the Board unanimously approved submission of a $750,000 CDBG application for Medvil Cooperative's water and sewer infrastructure improvements, with preliminary state funding approval already secured.
The Board also authorized Director of Public Works Adam Jacobs to investigate options to accelerate the Henry Bridge replacement project.
