Goffstown Parks Commission approves Glen Lake landscape architect, donation policy

NH GOFFSTOWN — Parks Commission advances Glen Lake project, adopts volunteer donation policy. The Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approved a motion by Commissioner L. Auger to retain a landscape architect for Glen Lake Waterfront improvements using revolving funds.
The commission also unanimously adopted a policy allowing organizations providing in-kind volunteer labor and materials to have field-rental fees waived or reduced. Director Rick Wilhelmi noted Roy Park improvements include a dog park, four pickleball courts, basketball court resurfacing at $15,000, and bull pine tree removal. The commission ranked maintaining existing parks as its top facility priority.
