NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Public Library Board addresses 2027 budget delays and facilities planning. Library Director Patti Penick reported the operating budget remains incomplete pending final town figures; the board discussed capping increases at five percent and confirmed the $55,000 maintenance budget will hold for 2027. Town-wide wage changes will advance non-union staff step increases to January 1st instead of July.

On facilities, parking lot paving is set for September, painting quotes for trim and elevator shaft are pending, and an energy efficiency audit through NH SAVES is scheduled for early 2027. Chair Terry Curtis assigned Kerstie Hazelbaker to lead an ad hoc committee on preservation planning grants, with Curtis, Hazelbaker, and two standby writers identified.
