Goffstown Economic Development Council explores development strategy

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Economic Development Council accepts two resignations, explores development plan. Chair Chet Bowen and four appointed members, plus representatives from the Selectmen and Planning Board, voted unanimously to accept resignations of Melanie Renfrew and Sandra Smith Troupakis. The council reviewed economic development plans from Pittsfield, Keene, and Newport, and was encouraged to develop a comprehensive strategy for Goffstown to grow the town's tax base.
The council also discussed town-owned and vacant commercial properties, with the Fire Department expected to present information on northern town-owned lots at a future meeting.
