GOFFSTOWN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL ADOPTS COMMERCIAL GROWTH STRATEGY

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Economic Development Council sets 2026 growth framework. The Council unanimously adopted a strategic goal to encourage commercial, industrial, and retail development to grow the town's tax base, with objectives centered on tax-incentive education, infrastructure enhancement, and coordination with other town boards. Vice Chair Dick Bruno championed the framework.

Selectmen's Representative Pete Georgantas cautioned that TIF districts require lengthy approval processes and raised questions about infrastructure-extension costs. The Council agreed to map vacant and underutilized properties against water and sewer infrastructure to identify development opportunities.
