Goffstown Cemetery Trustees appoint Grant as new chair

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Cemetery Trustees appoint new chair and approve operations. The board appointed Deb Grant as chair and retained Valerie Neal as secretary at their March 25 meeting. The trustees approved issuance of a new deed for Mrs.
Marino for a plot at Shirley Hill Cemetery after the original deed was lost, and approved a cremation burial for Randall Plett at the same cemetery on March 27, prior to the April 1 burial season start. Trustee Jason Georgantas reported spring cleanup at Westlawn and Shirley Hill Cemeteries, with stump grinding still needed. The board requested Goffstown Garden Club continue providing flowers for urns at Hillside and Westlawn Cemeteries, supported by 16 flower trust funds.
