Select Board · Meeting of April 13, 2026
NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Select Board authorizes $1.09 million fire engine purchase and approves road plan. Fire Chief Benjamin Selleck achieved $100,000 in savings on the $1,090,979 fire engine purchase from Allegiance Fire and Rescue through negotiated discounts and interest reduction, funded from the Capital Reserve Fund. Director of Public Works Adam Jacobs won approval for the 2026 road plan incorporating the voter-approved $450,000 for reclamation work on Ivy, Wall, and Heald Streets, plus mill-and-overlay projects on Mast Road and main roads including Page Hill, Tibbetts, East Dunbarton, and Hooksett.
A default budget transfer reallocated $238,809 from reclamation, directing $130,000 to fire department station coverage.
