Committee approves safety test at Shirley Hill curve

Highway Safety Committee · Meeting of June 10, 2026

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Highway Safety Committee votes to test and improve Shirley Hill curve safety. The committee voted 4-0 to direct the Department of Public Works to conduct a Ball Bank test and install two chevrons on a curve at Shirley Hill and Brien Road, advancing a request from Dan Hagler. Chief Eric Sereno noted the area lacks a documented history of major accidents or violations but currently has signage on only one side of the road.

A separate request for a stop sign at Cinnamon Drive and Sage Court was tabled until September pending input from DPW Director Adam Jacobs.
