NH GOFFSTOWN — Village Pedestrian Bridge Ad Hoc Committee advances MOU with rail trail group. The Ad Hoc Committee voted unanimously 5-0 to approve prior minutes, then moved its revised Memorandum of Understanding with Friends of Goffstown Rail Trail to the Goffstown Select Board, seeking the board's approval before forwarding it to the Town Attorney for review. Committee members discussed procedures for managing donations and pledges for the project.
Cynthia Boisvert agreed to research land ownership issues affecting the bridge abutments, citing similar problems other towns have faced with rail trail projects.
