Commission recommends garage variance for Bog Road property

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Conservation Commission recommends garage variance for waterfront property. Gerald Leibrandt requested the variance to rebuild a garage 3 feet from a stream at his Bog Road property; the Commission voted 5-1-1 in favor of recommending approval to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, with Jane Raymond opposed and Evelyn Miller abstaining. The Commission also unanimously allocated $2,500 toward invasive milfoil treatment in Namaske Lake, where the Namaske Lake Association estimates treatment costs at $26,350 with the state covering 50 percent.
Jean Walker was elected Chairman and Andrew Chaplin Vice Chairman.
