Commission recommends buffer relief for Black Brook project

NH GOFFSTOWN — Goffstown Conservation Commission unanimously recommends buffer relief for Black Brook project. The Commission voted 6-0 to recommend that the Planning Board grant relief from the outer 50 feet of a 100-foot wetland buffer for a deck and porch project at 355 Black Brook Road, with applicant Rick Martin and owner Julie Reste Family Trust proposing a 224-square-foot deck conversion plus a screened porch and new deck. The Commission also voted unanimously to recommend conditions for an Echo Property multi-family development at 12 South Mast Street, expressing concerns about increased runoff and recommending a drainage maintenance agreement and proper swale maintenance.
In other business, the Commission reported clear-cutting within the protected inner 50-foot buffer at a Mountain Road property previously denied buffer relief and referred the matter to the Town Engineer for enforcement review.
