Capital Improvements Committee elects Raymond chair, launches six-year plan cycle.

NH GOFFSTOWN — The Goffstown Capital Improvements Program Committee opened its 2027-2032 planning cycle with the unanimous election of James Raymond as Acting Chair. The committee, which includes representatives from the Selectmen, Budget Committee, School Board, and community-at-large members, received six administration capital requests totaling approximately $3.83 million, led by the Grasmere Town Hall ADA Elevator Addition Phase VI at $1.4 million and a Piscataquog River pedestrian bridge at $1.5 million. Town Administrator Derek Horne explained the CIP's role as an advisory plan to the Planning Board, which will use the ranked capital forecasts to guide Select Board and School Board budgets.
The committee will gather presentations from the School District, Parks and Recreation, Police, Fire, Public Works, Library, and Sewer Commission through August, with a Planning Board adoption vote scheduled for September 10.
